The amended bill HB 1045 has updated the timeline for training related to school health services. Instead of starting in the school year 2022-2023, the training will now begin in the 2025-2026 school year and will occur every two years thereafter instead of every three years. This change is significant because it aims to ensure that school staff receive updated training more frequently, which could improve health service delivery in schools.
