What changed in the latest version
60 added · 67 removedPlain-language change summary
The amended bill HB 660 introduced changes that require manufacturers of certain products to record new items in a nationwide database, which must include searchable details about their efficiency compliance. Additionally, it clarified that if products are found to be non-compliant during testing by the department, the manufacturer will incur the costs of testing. These changes are significant because they aim to improve monitoring of product efficiency and make it easier for consumers and regulators to access important compliance information, ultimately promoting better energy and water conservation.
