In plain language

This bill allows Pennsylvania to join the National Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact.

The bill authorizes Pennsylvania to enter into an agreement with other states to streamline occupational therapy licensure. This compact aims to facilitate easier practice across state lines for occupational therapists.

What this means for you
  • Workers: If you are an occupational therapist, this means you may be able to work in multiple states with a single license.
  • Consumers: For patients, this could increase access to occupational therapy services across state borders.
