The amendment to HB 294 specifies that the Director of the Office of Management and Budget must designate reserved parking spaces for pregnant persons at state-owned buildings and facilities. For leased locations, the Director is encouraged to collaborate with the lessor to create these designated parking spaces. Additionally, the amendment suggests that the Director consider establishing reserved parking spaces for pregnant persons at future state-owned and leased facilities where feasible. This change clarifies the requirement for reserved parking for pregnant persons at certain state facilities and outlines how this may be implemented for leased properties.
