The updated version of Bill HB 5580 removes certain legal language but primarily maintains the same intent. It releases restrictions on a piece of land in Stratford that was initially designated for "school purposes only," allowing it to be used for parking instead. If the land is ever used for any other purpose, it will go back to the state. This change matters because it opens up new uses for the land and provides potential revenue for the town, while ensuring oversight from state authorities.
