Plain-language change summary

The updated version of House Bill 1175 includes new language about how funds from the State Education Fund can be used. Specifically, it allows for appropriations to support the Colorado Teacher of the Year Program and requires funding for the Colorado READ Act. This change is important because it ensures that funds are directly allocated for key educational initiatives, thereby promoting teacher recognition and support for literacy programs in Colorado.
