WHEREAS,ThisApril2026marks the 23rd annual National Donate Life Month, a time to raise awareness of organ, eye, and tissue donation, encourage Americans to register as donors, and honor those who have saved and healed lives through the gift of donation;

and WHEREAS, Colorado has been a leader in the nation with nearly 900,000 Coloradans registered as organ, eye, and tissue donors at the DMV-a decision that reflects deep commitment to one another and confirms that there is good in all of us;
and honor those who have saved and healed lives through the giftofdonation;
and WHEREAS, Donor Alliance, in collaboration with community partners, educates Colorado residents on the lifesaving benefits of organ andtissuedonation,inspiringthemtoregisterasdonorsandencouraging them to share their decision with their families.
