Digest: Stops people who provide medical services to patients from telling a credit bureau that a patient owes a debt, or the amount of the debt. Allows a person to sue a person who breaks this law. Prohibits a consumer reporting agency from including in a consumer report an item that the consumer reporting agency knows or should know is medical debt.
