Plain-language change summary

The proposed amendments to SB 1724 clarify the rules regarding property valuation protection in Arizona. Specifically, it states that property that used to qualify for this protection will lose it if ownership changes to someone who doesn't qualify, or if the current owner fails to reapply or no longer meets the qualifications. This change is significant because it reinforces the conditions under which property valuation protection can be lost, potentially impacting many property owners who might be unaware of these requirements.
