Plain-language change summary

The latest version of Bill SCR 202 includes a resolution that suspends certain legislative rules, allowing specific bills from the previous regular session to carry over into the current special session. This change permits the legislature to continue working on House Bill 381, which addresses various taxation issues related to natural gas pipeline property. This is significant because it enables the lawmakers to build upon earlier discussions and potentially expedite the decision-making process on important energy-related tax matters without starting from scratch.
