Plain-language change summary

The updated bill SB 1198 now includes provisions to extend the Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board until July 1, 2034, while also repealing the Arizona Beef Council's previous continuity section. This change is significant because it ensures the continued oversight and professional practice of veterinary medicine in Arizona, although it also means the Beef Council will not be a self-financed program in the future. The timeline for the termination of both entities is clearly defined, indicating a planned transition for both boards.
