Plain-language change summary

The amendment to HB 2754 made several changes regarding the composition of the Arizona Commerce Authority's board of directors. Notably, it added two positions: one for the ranking minority party member from the Senate Finance Committee and one for the ranking minority party member from the House International Trade Committee, or their designees. This change is significant because it ensures that both major political parties have representation on the board, potentially leading to more balanced decision-making in matters concerning commerce and trade in Arizona. Additionally, it repealed a section of the law, simplifying the legislation.
