What changed in the latest version
39 added · 38 removedPlain-language change summary
The revised version of Senate Bill 20 now emphasizes the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) education by establishing a specific section dedicated to it within the legislation. Previously, CPR was mentioned only as part of a broader health education program. This change is significant because it ensures that all public school students will receive targeted instruction on hands-only CPR, promoting lifesaving skills among younger generations. This initiative could potentially save lives by equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to act in emergencies.
