Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 261 has made several changes by removing a repealed section and reorganizing the references to various Alaska statutes concerning school regulations and oversight. One significant change is the removal of the section that previously listed regulations exempting state boarding schools from compliance, which may clarify that all schools should adhere to the same regulations unless explicitly stated otherwise. This matters because it promotes uniformity in school governance and oversight, ensuring that all educational institutions are held to the same standards regarding their operations and employment practices.
