Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 1119 clarifies that digital images of ballots are considered public records. However, this rule does not apply to elections held by special taxing districts aimed at protecting agricultural lands and crops. This change is important because it establishes transparency in how votes are recorded while also protecting the specific interests of agricultural communities during elections.
