The proposed amendments to Bill HB 2803 focus on clarifying the definitions and eligibility criteria for Arizona's empowerment scholarship accounts. Notably, it specifies that evaluations for students will be conducted annually until they turn 22, ensuring ongoing support for those with qualifying needs. This change is important as it aims to provide a clearer framework for how students can remain eligible for financial assistance, thereby potentially improving educational outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
