AS 44.42.020 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:
(c) In this section, "tribal entity" means a tribe that the United States Secretary of the Interior recognizes as an Indian tribe under 25 U.S.C.
5130 and 5131 (Federally Recognized Indian Tribe List Act of 1994) and a subdivision, subsidiary, or business enterprise wholly owned by one or more tribes.
