Plain-language change summary

In the latest version of SB 1660, most notably, specific language was streamlined regarding how children are provided materials about sexual abuse and exploitation. The updates clarify that the department is required to ensure these resources are developmentally appropriate and includes vital safety information, such as the dangers of online predators and how to report abuse. This change matters because it enhances the safety and awareness of children regarding these serious issues by ensuring they receive comprehensive and age-appropriate information.
