Plain-language change summary

The revised bill includes changes to guidance for public schools on accommodating students fasting for religious or medical reasons. Notable alterations involve removing specific phrases and clarifying recommendations, particularly eliminating the focus on model policies and communication with parents or guardians. The new text emphasizes strategies to support students without negatively impacting their academic standing or access to instruction aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
