An Act appropriating 1[$58.145] $111.61 million in dedicated natural resource damages revenues to the Department of Environmental Protection for certain projects.
1. a. There is appropriated to the Department of Environmental Protection the sum of $58,145,0001[$58,145,000] $111,600,0001 from dedicated natural resource damages revenues pursuant to Article VIII, Section II, paragraph 9 of the State Constitution in the Natural Resource Damages – Constitutional Dedication account, from funds recovered in connection with claims made by the State in the matters of N.J.
The1N.J. Ciba Geigy Toms River Superfund Site, and The American Cyanamid Superfund Site, for projects to repair, restore, or replace damaged or lost natural resources of the State, or permanently protect the natural resources of the State pursuant to the prioritization set forth in Article VIII, Section II, paragraph 9 of the State Constitution as follows:
