What changed in the latest version
22 added · 31 removedPlain-language change summary
The amendments to the bill remove the directive language from the Department of Health regarding its participation in the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network, changing it to authorization without the specific obligation to act. Additionally, the phrase "subject to the availability of funds" has been added to the requirement for the Department of Health to submit a report to the Governor and Legislature. These changes may allow the department more flexibility in how it approaches participation in the network and adjust its reporting timeline based on available resources.
