Plain-language change summary

The amendment to the bill requires paratransit vehicle operators to announce stops for passengers. Previously, the text specifically mentioned the "Access Link" service from New Jersey Transit, but this reference was removed, allowing the amendment to apply more broadly to all paratransit services. This change means that any operator providing paratransit services is now responsible for announcing stops, which could improve the accessibility of transportation for passengers.

As Access Link is a form of paratransit service, which excludes fixed route transportation services, operators of Access Link are not currently required to make such announcements.
