Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill SB 2265 include a shift in the purpose of the grant funds from the construction of a chapel to building a welcome center at a veterans' national cemetery. Additionally, the new version specifies that the organization receiving the grant must provide a report detailing how the funds were used. These updates matter because they clarify the intended use of the funds and ensure accountability in how financial support is utilized for the veterans' cemetery project.
