Plain-language change summary

In the updated version of Senate Bill 2262, the amount of funding allocated to the kindergarten through grade twelve education coordination council has been reduced from $120,000 to $60,000. Additionally, the word "education" has been added to clarify the council's focus on K-12 education. This change is important because it reflects a more limited budget for the council's contract work, which could impact the scope of studies or initiatives they undertake.
