The recent amendments to Bill SB 2058 involve updates to several sections regarding the board of water well contractors in North Dakota. Notably, the bill specifies that applicants for certification will now pay a nonrefundable examination fee of $100, which can be adjusted by the board in the future. Additionally, it allows for a combined examination for those seeking to be certified in both water well contracting and pump installation, streamlining the process for applicants. These changes are significant as they aim to simplify the certification process and ensure that it remains up-to-date with industry needs.
