1408 is amended by amendment (25.0902.02005) as follows:

The legislative assembly shall meet at the seat of government in the month of December following the election of theits members thereof for organizational and orientation purposes and shall thereafter recess until the time provided in subsection 2.

This Act becomes effective on January 1, 2027.

SECTION 3.
EXPIRATION DATE.
Subsection 5 of section 1 of this Act is effective through December 31, 2026, and after that date is ineffective.
