A licensee who has maintained an active license issued by this board for forty-five years or more and who is no longer engaged in the active practice of the profession may apply to the board for a legacy status of license not less than ninety days prior to the expiration of their license.
Licenses with legacy status expire on December thirty-first of each year and must be renewed annually for a fee of twenty-five dollars.
While in legacy status, continuing education hours are not required for renewal.
Legacy status does not apply to an instructor license, establishment license, or independent licensee license.
A licensee may remove legacy status by:
a.
Applying to the board and paying the applicable renewal fee;
and b.
Taking the required annual continuing education hours if applicable.
