Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Senate Joint Resolution 88 now focuses solely on honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk, removing previous language that condemned political violence and referenced his assassination. This change shifts the resolution's purpose from a broader stance against violence to a more personal tribute celebrating Kirk’s contributions and family life. This matters because it alters the message from promoting a general principle of non-violence to specifically commemorating Kirk himself, reflecting a more targeted focus on his legacy without engaging in the surrounding political discourse.
