The amendment to AJR 60 made several minor adjustments, including the removal of some lines and the clarification of terminology, such as changing "Xhams" to "hams" and correcting "Wisconsin[s" to "Wisconsin's." Despite these changes, the main objective remains the same: to officially designate the week of June 22 to June 28, 2025, as Amateur Radio Week in Wisconsin. This recognition highlights the important role amateur radio operators play in supporting communities, especially during emergencies, which is significant for public safety and communication resilience.
