Plain-language change summary

The changes to Assembly Bill 968 primarily involve the definitions related to virtual currency kiosks, which are machines where users can trade regular money for virtual currency. Notably, the revised bill clarifies the definition of a "virtual currency kiosk" by adding that it can facilitate transactions for converting virtual currency back to fiat currency as well. These adjustments are important because they broaden the scope of services these kiosks can provide and may impact regulatory oversight and consumer protections in virtual currency transactions.
