The amendment to S 3346 removes the entire section that includes findings and purpose statements. This means that details about the significance of the streams to the state of Montana, the cultural uses by Indian Tribes, and the economic impact of recreational activities linked to these waterways will no longer be included in the bill. As a result, the context and rationale for the proposed actions regarding these streams are less explicitly documented in the current version of the legislation.
