The amendment adds a reference to the **"Northern Mariana Islands Long-Term Legal Residents Relief Act"** to the title of the bill. It also modifies some phrasing regarding the treatment of aliens applying for CNMI Resident status, specifying that they will be treated as lawfully admitted until a certain event occurs, although details about the status or event were not fully included in the text provided. This change clarifies the legal framework under which long-term residents may be admitted and sets a foundation for how their status will be handled.
