Plain-language change summary

In the updated version of Senate Bill 787, the language has been streamlined to improve clarity, especially concerning the target group of patients, which is specified as those who are 20 years old or younger with limited life expectancy. The bill also maintains its commitment to providing $50,000 in recurring funds for the 2024-2025 fiscal year to support families affected by this issue. These changes matter because they clarify who will benefit from the funding and ensure that the bill is easier to understand for those involved in advocating for these patients and their families.
