The recent amendments to HB 1345 make a few important updates regarding inspections of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in public schools. Specifically, the requirement for inspections now includes technicians with a Master HVAC License, in addition to other certified professionals, ensuring a broader range of qualified experts can conduct these evaluations. This change helps to enhance air quality standards by ensuring that more schools have access to skilled technicians for regular HVAC inspections, which is crucial for maintaining a safe environment for students and staff.
