and 16 WHEREAS, Recognizing Nurses and Health Professionals Week 17 serves to raise awareness of the critical need to support and 18 retain health care workers by improving working conditions, 19 ensuring fair wages, and investing in health care education and 20 training programs;
and 21 WHEREAS, The health care sector is a significant 22 contributor to Ohio's economy, with over 200,000 registered 23 nurses and health care professionals working tirelessly to 24 improve individual patient's lives, public health, and enhance 25 community well-being;
now therefore be it 26 RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Ohio House of 27 Representatives of the 136th General Assembly, do hereby 28 designate the week of May 6-12, 2025, as Nurses and Health 29 Professionals Week in the State of Ohio;
