Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill HB 80 include the addition of specific language detailing the use of funds for rent and operational expenses for the Industrial Commission located in the William Green Building. This clarification ensures that the allocated budget for the years 2026 and 2027 is explicitly designated for these expenses, totaling $1,158,000 each year. This change is important because it specifies how taxpayer dollars will be used, promoting transparency and accountability in government spending.
