Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Senate Resolution No. 57 adds several details to better commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Sport Fish Restoration Program. It includes a historical context regarding the role of hunters and anglers in conservation efforts, as well as the establishment of excise taxes on fishing equipment and fuels as funding sources for conservation. These additions are important because they highlight the long-standing commitment of the fishing community to sustainable resource management and emphasize the critical role that funding plays in maintaining healthy fish populations.
