and Whereas, According to the same National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey, 26 percent of women and 15 percent of men who were victims of contact sexual violence, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime first experienced National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention M 26H National Teen Dating Violence and Prevention D 26H_HR0245_INTR_126H_HR245_AA_1 cmzhygzq4huc 1 these or other forms of violence by that partner before the age of eighteen;
and Whereas, Developing healthy relationship practices and National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention M 26H National Teen Dating Violence and Prevention D 26H_HR0245_INTR_126H_HR245_AA_1 cmzhygzq4huc standards in youth under the age of eighteen can be critical to eliminating sexual violence and other forms of intimate partner violence.
