This bill died with 2025 Regular Session. It reached “Passed House” and never advanced before the session ended, so it can no longer move — a new version would have to be reintroduced in the current session.
This bill is no longer active — its legislative session has ended, so there are no live odds of enactment. It would have to be reintroduced in the current session to move again.

The amendment to Bill HB 1656 reduces the annual tax exemption for motor vehicles owned by service members and their spouses or dependents from $500 to $250. This change could make the tax burden heavier for military families who depend on these exemptions. By lowering the amount, the bill may affect the financial support offered to those who have served in the military.
