The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) adopts amendments to §537.62, Standard Contract Form TREC No. 55-0, Seller's Disclosure Notice; §537.63, Standard Contract Form TREC No. OP-L, Addendum for Seller's Disclosure of Information on Lead-Based Paint and Lead-Based Paint Hazards as Required by Federal Law; and §535.69, Standard Contract Form TREC No. 62-0, Seller's Notice to Buyer of Removal of Contingency Under Addendum for "Back-Up" Contract (NEW), in Chapter 537, Professional Agreements and Standard Contracts, with non-substantive changes to some of the forms adopted by reference under these rules (described below, as published in the February 27, 2026, issue of the Texas Register (51 TexReg 1252). The rule text will not be republished. The revised forms adopted by reference are available through the Commission's website at www.trec.texas.gov. Each of the rules correspond to contract forms adopted by reference. Texas real estate license holders are generally required to use forms promulgated by TREC when negotiating contracts for the sale of real property.
