The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission) is providing public notice of receipt and availability of, and has accepted for review and docketed, an application from Eden Radioisotopes, LLC (Eden) for a construction permit for a medical isotope production complex to be built near Eunice, Lea County, New Mexico. The construction permit application is dated May 5, 2026. This notice also provides the public an opportunity to request a hearing and petition for leave to intervene with respect to that application. The NRC staff will conduct safety and environmental reviews of the construction permit application. If the NRC issues a construction permit, the applicant, Eden, would be authorized to construct its proposed complex in accordance with the provisions of the construction permit. Because the application contains Sensitive Unclassified Non- Safeguards Information (SUNSI), this notice includes an order that imposes procedures to obtain access to SUNSI for contention preparation.
