The Coast Guard proposed to establish a temporary special local regulation for certain navigable waters of Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, LA. This action is necessary to protect persons and vessels from potential hazards created by the Kenner Super Boat Grand Prix Race. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone would be prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector New Orleans or a designated representative.
