Summary

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve as a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision the Morgan County-related elements of an Indiana submission to EPA dated October 2, 2015, as supplemented on February 8, 2019. The October 2015 submission addresses attainment of the 2010 sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>) national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) for four areas. The February 8, 2019 supplement provides additional modeling information regarding the adequacy of the plan for Morgan County. EPA proposes to conclude that Indiana has appropriately demonstrated that the plan provisions provided for attainment of the 2010 SO<INF>2</INF> NAAQS in the Morgan County area by the applicable attainment date and that the plan meets the other applicable requirements under the Clean Air Act.
