TITLE 71 INDIANA HORSE RACING COMMISSION Notice of Second Public Hearing LSA Document #25-147 Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on June 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Hoosier Lottery Building, 1302 North Meridian Street, Weliever Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Horse Racing Commission (IHRC) will hold a public hearing on adding rules at 71 IAC 7-3-38 and 71 IAC 14.5-2-1.3; and amending rules at 71 IAC 3, 71 IAC 3.5, 71 IAC 4, 71 IAC 6, 71 IAC 7, 71 IAC 8, 71 IAC 8.5, 71 IAC 9, 71 IAC 13, 71 IAC 14, and 71 IAC 14.5; concerning accreditation, lighting, claiming, technical changes, wagering, and breeding. The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of adoption of these rules by IHRC. All interested persons are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed new rules and amendments. This notice is the second of two (2) public hearings in which the public may comment on the proposed rule. Following the second public comment period and this public hearing, IHRC may adopt a version of the proposed rule that is the same as or does not substantially differ from the text of the proposed rule published in the Notice of Second Public Comment Period. The public hearing will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams, and the public may attend and comment on the public hearing in person or remotely.
