Under IC 4-22-2-23, notice is hereby given that on September 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 302 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Department of Child Services (DCS) will hold a public hearing on the repeal of 465 IAC 3-2-1, 465 IAC 3-2-2, 465 IAC 3-2-3, and 465 IAC 3-2-4 concerning departmental reviews of substantiated allegations of abuse or neglect. The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of the repeal of these rules by DCS. All interested persons are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed repeal. If DCS does not receive substantive comments during the public comment period or public hearing, the rule may be repealed. The public may attend the DCS meeting in person or join virtually at Microsoft Teams, Video ID 1121620331, followed by #450 369 563#. Copies of these rules are now on file at the Department of Child Services, 302 West Washington Street, Room E306, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
