TITLE 470 DIVISION OF FAMILY RESOURCES  Readopted Final Rule LSA Document #24-501 Readopts rules in anticipation of IC 4-22-2.6, providing that an administrative rule adopted under IC 4-22-2 expires January 1 of the fifth year after the year in which the rule takes effect unless the rule contains an earlier expiration date. Effective 30 days after filing with the publisher. SUMMARY/RESPONSE TO COMMENTS The Division of Family Resources (DFR) requested public comment from September 3, 2025, through October 3, 2025. DFR received one comment in response to the Notice of Public Comment Period for Rule Readoption. Commentor: Dennis Frick, Indiana Legal Services Comment: Dennis Frick suggested modifying the title of 470 IAC 6 from “Food Stamp Program” to “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and that 470 IAC 6-0.5-1 be retitled to “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) terms defined.” Response: DFR appreciates the comment, but at this time will be readopting the rules without modification.
