Under IC 4-22-2-23 and IC 13-14-9, notice is hereby given that on July 9, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, Conference Center Room A, 10 North Senate Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Environmental Rules Board (board) will hold a public hearing on amending rules at 327 IAC 8-3-7 concerning the applicability of construction permit fees and annual operating fees for public water supplies owned or operated by churches and governmental nonprofit organizations in the state. The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of final adoption of these rules by the board. All interested persons are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed amendments. The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) did not receive any comments during the public comment period or public hearing. Under IC 13-14-9-5, the rule may be adopted with text that is the same as or does not substantively differ from the proposed rule published in the Notice of First Public Comment Period. The public may attend the board's meeting in person or join remotely at https://events.in.gov/idem. Copies of these rules are now on file at IDEM, Rules Development Branch, Office of Legal Counsel, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
