TITLE 410 INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH Notice of Second Public Hearing LSA Document #26-64 Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on August 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at the Yoho Conference Room, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) will hold a public hearing on adding, amending, and repealing rules at 410 IAC 6-8.3 regarding residential on-site sewage systems, to: (1) update and add definitions; (2) bring the rule into conformance with statutory updates; (3) update matters incorporated by reference; and (4) update on-site sewage system regulations. The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of adoption of these rules by IDOH. All interested parties are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed new rules and amendments. This notice is for the second of two (2) public hearings in which the public may comment on the proposed rule. Following the second public comment period and this public hearing, IDOH may adopt a version of the proposed rule that is the same as or does not substantially differ from the proposed rule published in the Notice of Second Public Comment Period.
