No. PSC-21-26-00007-A Filing Date: 2026-09-18 Effective Date: 2026-09-18 PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Pro- cedureAct, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action: Action taken: On 9/17/26, the PSC adopted an order authorizing the Vil- lage of Richmondville’s proposed tariff amendments to its P.S.C. No. 1 — Electricity to increase its annual electric revenues by $221,241, or a 11.87 percent, effective October 1, 2026. Statutory authority: Public Service Law, sections 5, 65 and 66 Subject: Minor Rate Increase. Purpose: To authorize the Village of Richmondville’s proposed tariff amendments to is P.S.C. No. 1 — Electricity. Substance of final rule: The Commission, on September 17, 2026, adopted an order authorizing the Village of Richmondville’s (The Village) proposed tariff amendments to its P.S.C. No. 1 — Electricity to increase its annual electric revenues, for the Rate Year, by $221,241, or a 11.87 percent, effective October 1, 2026. The Village is directed to file a cancel- lation supplement on not less than one day’s notice to become effective on September 25, 2026, cancelling the tariff amendments listed in Appendix A to the order. The Village is directed to file, on not less than three days’ notice to become effective on October 1, 2026, such tariff revisions to ef- fectuate the approved rates as shown in Appendix G and any other tariff changes consistent with the discussion in the body of the order. The Vil- lage is directed to notify its customers of the Public Service Commission’s determination in this proceeding within 60 days of the issuance of the or- der, by newspaper publication, once a week, for four consecutive weeks, consistent with the requirements of Public Service Law § 66(12)(b) and Title 16 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations § 720-8.1. The Village is directed to file with the Secretary to the Commission, no later than 90 days after the issuance of the order, a copy of the newspaper pub- lication identified in Ordering Clause No. 4, and an affidavit demonstrat- ing that it has complied with Ordering Clause No. 4.TheVillage is directed to make a journal entry to reduce the Contributions for Extension balance by $411,254 as discussed in the body of the order and file a copy of the journal entry within 90 days of the issuance of the order. The Village is directed to work with the Department of Public Service’s Office of Consumer Services Staff to develop written customer service operation processes and procedures, amend certain customer-facing documents and notices, and file copies of these materials with the Secretary to the Com- mission within 180 days of the issuance of the order, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
