House Bill 543 (2023) provided funds for a new cloud-based SESIR portal. Proposed changes to this rule will require the districts to use the new SESIR portal, even though the law does not require its use. A pilot is currently underway, and pilot districts are raising issues that we are working through. Proposed changes to this rule will also include updated terminology and definitions. Additional changes to the rule may be considered. SUBJECT: School district reporting requirements related to safety and discipline data.
